The Toxoplasmosis Research Institute is dedicated to supporting research, education, and patient care for toxoplasmosis. TRI was formed in August of 1991 with specific goals to:
- Perform research on a treatment and cure of toxoplasmosis and related diseases.
- Invest and receive gifts for charitable, scientific and educational purposes.
- Develop education programs about toxoplasmosis including prevention, care and treatment.
- Provide financial assistance to those afflicted with toxoplasmosis and are in need.
- Review and submit grant applications to secure funds to be used in ways consistent with the goals of TRI.
